Spring mini sessions are here! | Bergen county children photographer

I am very excited to announce my first ever mini sessions! ‘What are mini-sessions’, you may ask? Well, I will tell you – they are just like regular Live Love Laugh Photos sessions only shorter (hence the name) and the date and location are selected by me. They are great for first time customers who want to get a little taste of the Live Love Laugh Photos experience. And they are wonderful for existing customers as well because they provide a quick and inexpensive way to refresh family and kids photos.  And feel free to forward this to your husbands as a hint for a Mother’s Day gift:)

The package I selected for these mini sessions (see below for details) provides great savings over my regular pricing AND there is no minimum purchase required- it is a great deal, if I may say so myself!

Limited sessions are available and slots fill up on the first come first serve basis.  Don’t wait to long and call me at 917-647-6385 or email at Lena@LiveLoveLaughPhotos.com to reserve your session!

And don’t forget to check out the newly created Boutique Products guide to see new boutique products I’ve got in store.

We are back! | New Jersey children photographer

To be honest, Victor and I were a bit worried about our first family vacation – plane rides, two toddlers throwing tantrums at the same time, etc.. But I am happy to report, that even though it was not very restful, all four of us really enjoyed our first family vacation! The girls had a great time meeting Mickey and the gang in the Magic Kingdom, having dinner with Winnie the Pooh and breakfast with Donald Duck and his friends, seeing giraffes and zebras roaming freely at the resort we stayed at (Animal Kingdom lodge), playing with legos at Downtown Disney and staying up way past their bedtime. Victor and I got a baby sitter for a couple of nights so in addition to a nice family vacation we had two date nights as well:)

These days it is next to impossible to get Mia and Alexa sitting still even for a second so I was happy to capture a few ‘action’ shots of my TWO year old girls doing what they do best – climbing, dancing, running around and just taking in the world. I took a whole lot of images and still need to work on most of them but here is a little ’sneak peek’:)

Disney World – here we come! | Bergen county children photographer

First time we planned a family vacation to Florida we had to cancel it because of the swine flu scare back in 2009. This is our second attempt at a family vacation and as Murphy’s law would have it – there is a big snow storm coming to the area tomorrow morning – the day we are supposed to fly out to Disney World. I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope that we will be celebrating Mia and Alexa’s second birthday in warm(er) Florida rather than in snow covered New Jersey:) Still can’t believe that my girls will turn two in less than two days!

And here are a few of pictures I took of them recently:

I am in love! | NJ photographer

It’s official – I am in love! – with the Deluxe albums that I am now offering!  I’ve been looking forward to receiving this album since the day I sent it to be printed.  So when my UPS delivery guy brought the box I could hardly contain my excitement as I opened it.  I knew that I would like the album – it is similar to the Image Box and Print Mats that I offer (product spot light on those will be coming later on) but it definitely exceeded my expectations!  All I can say is ‘WOW, WOW, WOW’ – the quality of it is simply unbelievable!  I spent the whole evening looking at it and even Victor, who is not easily impressed, was amazed by it.  Mia loved the album so much that she kept looking through it and every time I would try to take it away from her, she would not let me.  But that was OK because the album is really child-proof – very thick (2 mm pages), stain and fingerprint free image cover – so Mia did not cause it any damage:)  So if you have little kids (or big kids, for that matter) – that is a perfect album for you!

The album I designed was a sample album with a variety of images from various sessions.  Now that I’ve seen it in person, I can’t wait to design one for Mia and Alexa!

So as a special introductory offer, Deluxe albums will be available at 30% discount from now till the end of March.  If any of my 2009 clients would like to purchase it just send me an email and I will re upload your gallery for free so that you could select images for the album.

I am not a product photographer by any means and these pictures don’t do it justice but they should give you an idea of what these albums look like:

Custom designed wrap-around image cover and spine:

Very thick (kids proof!) pages:

Album lays completely flat when open and there is no gap in between pages:

Multiple layout options including cover to cover images – these definitely make a statement!

Helping hearts contest winner and personal update |Bergen county children photographer

Thank you for all of you who participated in the Helping Hearts contest!  And the winner is….tum-ta-ta-tum (that’s my drum roll imitation) – Deryn Johnson!  Deryl – I am very excited to meet you  and your kids – send me an email and we will schedule a session.

On a personal front: it seems like I’ve been sick for years but finally (after over 2 weeks!) I am feeling better.  Not healthy enough to go out for a romantic Valentine’s day with Victor (we ended up watching the Olympics and having a cheese fondue at home) but well enough to finally pick up my camera and photograph my girls!  They are both at the age when they want nothing to do with having their pictures taken – Mia just runs away and Alexa says first says ‘NOOOOOOO’ and then just turns away:)  I was able to get a few of them though.  I can’t believe they will turn two in less than two weeks!
